How to Locate Secure SD-WAN Engine and SMC License Details in the Forcepoint Customer Hub

Summary
The article provides steps how to locate FlexEdge Secure SD-WAN (previously NGFW) license details via the Forcepoint Customer Hub.
Notes and Warnings
Note
  • After April 11th 2022, newly purchased Secure SD-WAN and NGFW Appliances will be automatically registered when the order is processed, and the fulfillment emails no longer include the license identification details.
  • When NGFW software license is renewed, the new license will have a new Proof of License (POL) code. The new license needs to be registered after the renewal.
Solution

When an administrator needs to register Secure SD-WAN Engine (previously NGFW) or Manager (SMC) licenses, the administrator will need the Proof of Serial (Secure SD-WAN appliance identification) or the Proof of License (Engine and SMC license identification) code for the license. These identification codes are available at the Forcepoint Customer Hub. The name of the codes may be one of the following:

  • Forcepoint NGFW #### Appliance (#### indicates the model)
  • Forcepoint Secure SD-WAN #### Appliance (#### indicates the model)
  • Forcepoint NGFW Management Center
  • Forcepoint Security Management Center - High Availability
  • FlexEdge Secure SD-WAN Manager
  • FlexEdge Secure SD-WAN Manager - High Availability
